It was nice to get away to Tucson, Arizona with my family this summer. Aside from seeing the sites, hiking, and visiting local places of interest, I love the photography potential it offers. We ventured up Mt. Lemmon hitting places such as Summerhaven and Ski Valley. I set my sights on the numerous hoodoo rock formations and the incredible variety of vistas at every turn. It was surreal starting our journey in Arizona's summer heat surrounded by cacti and moments later walking beneath towering fur trees and almost chilled temperatures as we ascended the mountain. There had been fires that occurred not long ago and I was able to capture some of the remnants, but it did not affect the beauty of this excursion in the least.
